At a recent conference here in New Mexico regarding films distribution, the panelist who happened to be a Hollywood attorney was asked a question by a local filmmaker that went' something like this; "After we fill out all the paperwork and account for everyone in the food chain, what percentage of the movie ticket does the filmmaker receive? " Sadly the answer was ZERO.
